Code of the Dragon's Talons

The Code of the Dragon's Talons is simple, but empowering. All members, regardless of rank, game experience, or length of time in the guild will treat each and every other member with honor, respect, and honesty at all times. When you become a Dragon's Talon, you become part of an extraordinary new guild environment which not only allows for, but actively plans for each and every member to grow, learn, and excel in RvR, and then to pass that knowledge on to allow other members the same opportunity.

An invitation to become a Dragon's Talon is not handed out lightly or frivolously. If you are invited to our guild, you were invited because we have observed you and believe you are honorable in the sense of the game. When you enter the halls of the Dragon's Talons, your skill and experience in RvR may be anywhere from established veteran leader to someone just starting out in RvR with a lower skill and experience level. But no matter what your skill and experience is upon joining us, you join the rest of the Dragon's Talons in trying to bring a higher level of RvR to the battlefields and to a guild environment.

Becoming a Dragon's Talon shows that your primary interest in the game is honorable RvR and in surrounding yourself with others who share that primary interest. It also shows that you are, and will continue to be, an honorable and respectful player at all times. Dragon's Talons help each other learn the ways of RvR, and uphold our standards of honor and respect even in the heat of the battlefields of the frontiers. Because we actively encourage those in the Path of Learning to join us in RvR, be prepared to group with any level, class, or RR player and help them learn the ways of RvR. No member of the Dragon's Talons should be turned down for a place in a guild RvR group if there is a spot available and they are asking for a group, and we will encourage those in Rank 4 to participate in our RvR groups.

There are three paths that all our guild members take:

  • Path of Learning: Gain knowledge and skill by joining other guild members in the fields of battle, learning from established and respected battle veterans and leaders.
  • Path of Seasoning: Take what you learn from the veterans and leaders and hone your skill and broaden your battlefield experience as you walk the path to becoming a veteran.
  • Path of Teaching: As you become more seasoned and experienced, share your knowledge and experience with other members as they begin their own Path of Learning.

All members of the Dragon's Talons are required to register at the guild forums, as this is a place where most of our guild business will be conducted. There are special Guild Member Only sections where guild issues will be discussed and voted on. Because we are all equals in this guild, every vote and every member opinion and suggestion is equal and vital. The forums are also where we can communicate easily with each other via posts and PM's, share knowledge, ask questions, ask for help, etc. Because the guild forums are a vital connection in guild official business and issues, all guild members are expected to visit the forums at least once a week to participate in any issues or votes pending.

Finally, to repeat our Code: All members of the Dragon's Talons will be honorable, truthful, and respectful at all times. This means with other guild members, with other players, in all public chat venues (guild chat, battlegroup chat, chat, alliance chat, group chat, etc.), and includes all guild venues, such as meetings and the guild forums. Guild forum posts must keep our Code in mind, so any posts that violate the Code can and will be deleted. The bottom line is that anytime a Dragon's Talons is seen standing strong and proud on the battlefield, other players will look at you and know that you are a Dragon's Talon, full of honor, respect, and RvR wise.

You, my Dragon's Talons friend, are a force to be reckoned with.

The Dragon's Talons guild on Albion Pellinor was established August 22, 2005.
